2021 portfolio

…creation inspires everything for me-

God has already created everything and I am just rearranging some of it as I try and make sense of this life while hopefully encouraging others along the way.

Nature provides all the color, texture, movement, optimism, risk, hope that I need to stay inspired.

New life... beauty, hope, goodness. I've been reflecting on the seasonality of life, & how having something to look forward to sustains through the bleaker times.

I find spring a natural time for reflection- looking back over the winter and enjoying natures energy of moving forward to new growth. It is a time of questioning what to keep and what to release.

I wanted to share the results of my 2020 project: To create 20 poems and 20 paintings. ..

Do you have a ‘Word for the year?’ I like to have a focus, or intention for the year. And sure- its the end of September and here I am talking about my word for the year, but this is often around the time I reflect on what the word has been and will be as I finish out for the year.

My word this year came to me like a slap in the face in early January-

Well 2020 summer was certainly- different- than any other summer in my lifetime, I am guessing yours too?
